- MY FIRST STORY Profile
- MY FIRST STORY is now a major force in the music scene, having performed at many music festivals around the country and alongside foreign artists. They first formed in Shibuya in the summer of 2011. The band set their personal best record when they released their fourth album, ANTITHESE, which reached number 4 on the Oricon weekly chart in 2016. Subsequently, they launched a nationwide tour for the album, covering all 47 prefectures in Japan. The tour's last stop saw them perform solo at Nippon Budokan for the first time, selling out on the same day and attracting 12,000 fans to the live concert. The band celebrated their 10th anniversary since their debut and released their best album X in 2022, a highly requested work from the fans. 2023 saw the band release music every month of the year and launch another nationwide tour in Japan covering all 47 prefectures – something they haven't done for seven years now.
In November of the same year, they performed a one-night-only live show titled VS alongside fellow rock band ONE OK ROCK at Tokyo Dome.

- HYDE is a solo artist who's also the vocalist for L'Arc-en-Ciel, VAMPS, and THE LAST ROCKSTARS.
With an expansive career in the music industry both domestically and abroad, HYDE is truly a Japanese artist at the international level. He was the first artist from Japan to perform at Madison Square Garden in New York as part of L'Arc-en-Ciel and his success also saw him perform at Japan National Stadium—a first for any rock band in the country.
HYDE launched a 7-city, 20-date solo tour around the country as Japan loosened its regulations on COVID-19 from June 2023. He ended the year on a high note as he held THE LAST ROCKSTARS The 2nd Tour 2023 "PSYCHO LOVE" in Tokyo in November.
Starting February 2024, HYDE is performing the “ARENA TOUR 2024 UNDERGROUND” as a part of L'Arc-en-Ciel.

While we fully accept this unmerited honor, we are filled with hope that Mugen, which we sing with HYDE, our kind mentor and senior in the music industry, can illuminate and elevate Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, an anime title that continues to be loved by fans around the world.
We put our heart and soul into this song, and we hope that you will enjoy the opening theme along with the anime.
