
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba returned to Anime Expo for a fourth year in a row to celebrate its sixth anniversary on July 4, 2025 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Thousands of fans gathered for the epic celebration which featured the music of the first arc from the series, the
Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc, performed live accompanied by scenes from the series projected on a large screen.
The audience erupted in cheers and applause as
Natsuki Hanae stepped on to the stage to perform scenes from Episode 1, where Tanjiro discovers that his family had been brutally murdered and his sister, Nezuko, has turned into a demon.

The celebration also featured a few surprise appearances from Tanjiro and Nezuko during a special performance of the song featured with the Taisho-era secret at the end of each episode.
The English cast member of Zenitsu Agatsuma,
Aleks Le, also made a surprise appearance to perform the iconic scene from Episode 11 with
Natsuki Hanae performing as Tanjiro in Japanese and
Aleks Leperforming as Zenitsu in English.

For his final performance of the event,
Natsuki Hanae performed scenes from Tanjiro's fight against the Spider Demon Rui in Episode 19, bringing many audience members to tears.

The end of the event was met with a standing ovation as the crowd cheered loudly for the musicians and cast.
