Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba celebrated its 5th Anniversary with a special event presented by Aniplex of America at Anime Expo 2024!



The event welcomed special guests Natsuki Hanae (VA of Tanjiro Kamado), Takahiro Sakurai (VA of Giyu Tomioka), and Aniplex producer Yuma Takahashi.

Natsuki Hanae, who has attended Anime Expo for 3 years in a row now, was asked how it felt to be back and responded that it felt like he was back home.



When asked how it felt to be at his first Anime Expo, Takahiro Sakurai also responded that it felt like he was home.




Fans were treated to behind the scene stories from what it was recording Episode 1 of the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc and Tanjiro's first time meeting Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka.



The audience burst out in laughter as a video message from Hiro Shimono, the voice of Zenitsu Agatsuma, played where he asked panelists to bring back some fried chicken as a souvenir and reflected on Zenitsu's appearance in the Hashira Training Arc.

The event also featured a surprise video message from Toshihiko Seki, the voice of Muzan Kibutsuji, who intro-d the trailer for the highly anticipated Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle trilogy.

Earlier in the day, fans were treated to a special Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! event at the Aniplex of America booth, where Natsuki Hanae, Takahiro Sakurai, and Producer Yuma Takahashi were joined by Aleks Le, the English voice actor for Zenitsu.



Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! is available now on Nintendo Switch, and coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam on July 16th!
